HP Pavilion dv3t Laptop Review The HP Pavilion dc3t series is a new model in the league of the customized notebooks, this 13” notebook like its predecessor, also comes with an AMD based dual core processor with frequency ranging from 2.0 to 2.66 GHz depending upon the money you can roll-off. This notebook weighs just under 5 pounds and measures only 1.25 inch thick, though not the thinnest. This customer oriented notebook starts at $ 799 before any discount is offered.

This notebook is suitably built for the mainstream customers and with only a few changes it can be categorized as student specific notebook. It contains an installed 3 GB of DDR2 type RAM which is expandable to 8 GB DDR2, this feature of making it expandable to 8 GB makes it very suitable to fit as per the need.

The notebook has premium network connection facilities with preinstalled Bluetooth technology and configuration for WiFi technology. The notebook contains special devices like Graphics Card and multimedia accelerator to enhance the resolution quality and multimedia application quality respectively. By the use of these features the notebook gives a lifelike view on its multimedia display.

  • Technical Features : The notebook contains an AMD Neo dual core processor having range from 2.0 – 2.66 GHz. It has a hard drive of 320GB of SATA type having 5400 RPM as its operating speed. It contains 3 GB of internal memory (RAM) which is extendable to 8 GB. Along with these features the notebook supports a Blu-Ray disk technology which other notebooks in the range of $800 do not support.
  • Other important features : The notebook has two choices of Graphics Media Accelerator: an Intel graphics accelerator 4500 MHD and a NVIDIA GeForce G 105M GPU of 512 MB. The former is preferable for those users who want longer battery life and for those who wish to enjoy a lot of multimedia applications the latter one is preferred.

The Pavilion dc3t features a full presentation of ports and plugs. It includes a 34 mm Express card slot, VGA, HDMI, memory card slot and three USB ports. Unlike its predecessor dc3t it does not feature an illuminated keyboard. For better networking operations and control it offers both the Bluetooth and wireless technology.
